The Rye Historical Society is a nonprofit organization devoted to researching, preserving and celebrating Rye's unique historic heritage.  The Society operates two historic properties, the Square House Museum, c. 1730 and the Knapp House Archives, c. 1670 and offers a wide variety of programs for all ages.
